Vive o SENHOR teu Deus, que não houve nação nem reino aonde o meu senhor não mandasse em busca de ti; e dizendo eles: Aqui não está, então fazia jurar os reinos e nações, que não te haviam achado.

Juro pelo nome do Senhor, o teu Deus, que não há uma só nação ou reino aonde o rei, meu senhor, não enviou alguém para procurar por ti. E, sempre que uma nação ou reino afirmava que tu não estavas lá, ele os fazia jurar que não conseguiram encontrar-te.

Então és tu - não é verdade? - o homem que trouxe esta desgraça sobre Israel!, exclamou Acabe quando o viu.
