Ao terceiro dia um homem veio do arraial de Saul, com as vestes rotas e com terra sobre a cabeça; e, chegando ele a Davi, se lançou no chão, e se inclinou.

quando, no terceiro dia, chegou um homem que vinha do acampamento de Saul, com as roupas rasgadas e terra na cabeça. Ao aproximar-se de Davi, prostrou-se em terra, em sinal de respeito.

Donde vens tu?, perguntou David.Do exército de Israel, replicou o homem.
