And it came to pass in the morning that, behold, it was Leah. And he said to Laban, What is this thou hast done unto me? Did not I serve with thee for Rachel? Wherefore then hast thou beguiled me?

Quando amanheceu, eis que era Léia; pelo que perguntou Jacó a Labão: Que é isto que me fizeste? Porventura não te servi em troca de Raquel? Por que, então, me enganaste?

E aconteceu que pela manhã, viu que era Lia; pelo que disse a Labão: Por que me fizeste isso? Não te tenho servido por Raquel? Por que então me enganaste?

Quando chegou a manhã, lá estava Lia. Então Jacó disse a Labão: "Que foi que você me fez? Eu não trabalhei por Raquel? Por que você me enganou? "
