Filhinhos, eu vos escrevo, porque os vossos pecados são perdoados por amor do seu nome.

Filhinhos, esta é a última hora; e como ouvistes que vem o anticristo, já se têm levantado muitos anticristos, pelo que conhecemos que é a última hora.

For whatsoever is begotten of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that hath overcome the world, [even] our faith.

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, cannot love God whom he hath not seen.

Se confessarmos os nossos pecados, ele é fiel e justo para nos perdoar os pecados, e para nos purificar de toda a injustiça.

Sabemos que somos de Deus, e o mundo inteiro está no maligno.

Filhinhos, vocês são de Deus e os venceram, porque aquele que está em vocês é maior do que aquele que está no mundo.

And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:

And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
