Jeremias

Mas, depois de arrancá-los, terei compaixão de novo e os farei voltar, cada um à sua propriedade e à sua terra.

Assim diz o Senhor ao povo de Judá e de Jerusalém: "Lavrem seus campos não arados e não semeiem entre espinhos.

Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a darling child? for as often as I speak against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my heart yearneth for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith Jehovah.

A palavra que veio a Jeremias da parte do Senhor, depois que Nebuzaradão, capitão da guarda, o deixara ir de Ramá, quando o havia tomado, estando ele atado com cadeias no meio de todos os do cativeiro de Jerusalém e de Judá, que estavam sendo levados cativos para Babilônia.

Ouvi a palavra do Senhor, ó casa de Jacó, e todas as famílias da casa de Israel;

but, As Jehovah liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the countries whither he had driven them. And I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.

Veio a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:

And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah.

Mas eu disse: "Ah, Soberano Senhor! Eu não sei falar, pois ainda sou muito jovem".

And their prince shall be of themselves, and their ruler shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is he that hath had boldness to approach unto me? saith Jehovah.
